The following are some news highlights from our year at Vista West Engineering:
- We are pleased to announce the addition of Neil Trentacosti as Design Engineer. Neil earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming in 2007 and has worked as an Engineer-in-Training for WK Dickson and Co. in Raleigh, North Carolina since that time on a variety of water resource projects. At Vista West Engineering, Neil will be working on various municipal, site engineering and land development projects in and around Sheridan. A native of Sheridan, Neil has recently moved back to the area with his wife Jessica. Welcome Neil!
- December 2009 - Although not selected, Vista West was nominated for the Sheridan Chamber of Commerce "Business of the Year" Award. The selection was made from three nominees.
- Vista West Engineering is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Feck
and Erik Miller to Principal level positions with the firm. This is in recognition
of their years of experience and demonstrated ability to sustain a high level
of excellence in the areas of professionalism and expertise; business skills and
experience; character and leadership; and commitment to the company. This
advancement is both an honor and a reward for their years of hard work and
dedication to helping build the company.
Jeff Feck has 12 years of experience with the firm and currently leads the Municipal Infrastructure and Site Engineering market segments. Recent responsibilities have included land development projects for the Cloud Peak Development and site engineering for the new Tongue River High School and Woodland Park Elementary School.
Erik Miller has nearly 10 years of experience with the firm and currently leads the Highway Engineering market segment. Prior to joining Vista West Engineering, Erik spent 10 years with the WYDOT Douglas Resident Engineer’s office. Currently, Erik is managing multiple highway projects throughout the State, including a section of U.S. Highway 20/26 Reconstruction in Casper and U.S. Highway 89 Reconstruction near Afton.
- March 2010 - Our Team Building Committee sponsored the annual family bowling event, with traveling trophies for high male and female average going to Randy Bomar and Michelle Edwards respectively.
