State of Wyoming DEQ Parking Lot

Settlement was occurring at the Wyoming DEQ location in Sheridan throughout the concrete sidewalk and asphalt parking areas in front of the building. Vista West Engineering suggested that the Owner utilize a non-disruptive method of urethane deep injection rather than the recommended procedure of removing 8 feet of the original fill over the entire area.

The project was awarded to Concrete Stabilization Technology (CST) who was able to stabilize the parking lot as well as adjust the concrete sidewalk and curb and gutter near their original locations. The flowline was reestablished and the sidewalk was leveled out. All work was completed while maintaining access for the walking public in and out of the building. The parking lot was only blocked off for a couple of days before being reopened, a much shorter timeframe than total reconstruction.
