Mydland Road is the primary entrance into the Cloud Peak Ranch development in Sheridan. Initially constructed as an interim rural section for a distance of just over a half-mile to access the new Highland Park Elementary School and residential home sites in 2004, the northern portion of the road was updated to an urban section in 2008.
