This was an experimental project to show municipalities an alternative paving method. The work involved rotomilling the existing street, both crushed base and asphalt pavement, and then combining this material with cement and water, and replacing it as a modified cement treated base. Once the base was placed, a 4” whitetopping was then put on top of the new 8” base section.
