Runway 5/23 Rehabilitation

This cross-wind runway and connecting taxiways were totally reconstructed to meet longitudinal slope criteria. Work involved narrowing the existing runway to meet B-II design criteria, along with complete regrading of safety areas and installation of a new edge lighting system, Distance-to-Go Signs, Positive Approach Path Indicators (PAPI’s) and Runway End Indicator Lights (REILS).
