Runway 5/23 Sealing and Striping

Runway 5/23 is a crosswind runway located at Sheridan County Airport in Sheridan, Wyoming at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains. The runway underwent an intense rehabilitation in 2001 to bring it up to FAA standards. This project involved routing and crack sealing cracks that have developed since then. Once the crack sealing was complete, the runway was then fog sealed with a pavement rejuvenator designed to slow the oxidation process of the pavement. Once the fog sealing was completed and dried, runway markings were then placed.
