Sheridan Green House Project

A local nonprofit organization known as Green House® Living for Sheridan proposed to construct the first Green House elder living facility in the State of Wyoming. This facility would be an alternative to a traditional nursing home. The facility would consist of four separate 8,300 square foot “cottages”, each of which would contain 12 separate rooms for elders. The atmosphere is meant to be more like a home than an institution, giving the residents a comfortable atmosphere to live, eat, and socialize. The facility would also include a fifth building for administrative functions with a size of about 2,000 square feet. Vista West Engineering provided the civil engineering design services for the project, as well as performed the design and construction administration for a large portion of the infrastructure work on the project that was under the direction of the City of Sheridan and multiple bid packages.
