Wyoming Airports Pavement Condition Index Surveys & Maintenance Plan - State of Wyoming

Our engineers at Vista West are responsible for updating the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) surveys at 35 Wyoming Airports, and have developed a detailed pavement maintenance and rehabilitation plan for 34 of the airports in the State.

Vista West Engineering uses the latest technology for obtaining the data as well as processing and reporting the data. Distresses are measured in the field and immediately input into the database software so that PCI results can be determined while still at the airport, making a quicker turn around for the owner.

These surveys are updated for each airport every three years to update each airport’s Capital Improvement Program. The Federal Aviation Administration, the State of Wyoming, and individual airports continue to use the information to plan for future funding needs for pavement maintenance and rehabilitation.
