September, 2010 - Vista West Engineering, Inc., placed in the top twenty on the CE News 2010 list of Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work For in the United States. Awards were announced at the 2010 Best Firms to Work For Summit held in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 28-29, 2010. Architecture, engineering and environmental consulting firm leaders and human resource professionals gathered at the annual summit to exchange tips, strategies and tactics needed to attract andretain the best employees in a very competitive environment. Participants in the "Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work For"competition provided indepth information about their company’s operations and human resource policies, and their employees completed detailed surveys measuring workplace satisfaction. |
PAST AWARDS
February, 2009 - Award for Excellence for the Brooks/Smith Street Reconstruction Project, Phase I from the American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) Colorado/Wyoming Chapter. Also receiving award recognition was the City of Sheridan and the General Contractor - Concrete Works of Colorado. Vista West Engineering also received an honorable mention from the Wyoming Engineering Society for the project.
February 2008 - Award for Excellence for the Sheridan County Airport Apron Reconstruction Project from the American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) Colorado/Wyoming Chapter. Also receiving award recognition was the Sheridan County Airport and the General Contractor - ICM of Sheridan, Wyoming.
2006 - Award for Excellence for the Scott Broadway Reconstruction Project from the American ConcretePavement Association (ACPA) Colorado/Wyoming Chapter.
2003 - Presidential Project Award for the Sheridan Slope Stabilization Project from the Wyoming Engineering Society (WES)
2000 - Presidential Project Award for the Loucks Street Whitetopping Project from the Wyoming Engineering Society (WES)
